Honestly, what the hell is wrong with these people? Are they trying to make people hate the film industry? It’s like what I’d said about the fucking Carrie remake; you don’t attempt to remake a classic that’s left an indelible mark on pop culture unless most of the original cast is rotting in their graves. I’m not even a super fan the way legit film buffs and Bret Easton Ellis purists are, and even I’m fuming. Christian Bale barely looks like he’s aged since he filled the lead role. In fact, the 80’s in general is too recent for them to be dipping into it for things like this. People will protest. Bale should protest. Bret Easton Ellis should protest. The world should protest.
